Mandanas Ruling.PH offers a repository of information relevant to the implementation of the Mandanas-Garcia Ruling, which intends to make access to information more efficient and convenient to local government officials and personnel.
Initiated by the Galing Pook Foundation and The Asia Foundation, in cooperation with the Department of Interior and Local Government, this website aims to provide information for national government agencies and local government units in the development of their Devolution Transition Plans (DTPs), and the civil society organizations and other stakeholders for a more informed and effective participation in local governance. Mandanas Ruling.PH is also expected to help researchers and policy makers develop recommendations for further improving local governance, making it more inclusive, responsive, transparent and accountable. As a crowdsourcing site, we also encourage all LGUs, academic institutions and civil society organizations to contribute and share more resources with us about the Ruling.
